A version of the "Romans Road"- Kinda

A few days ago, my Dad and I were talking about our difficulties in telling our Christian brothers why we are commanded to follow Torah and where. So we decided that to help us in our conversations with people, we would form a list of verses -from the New Testament- which prove that Torah is to be followed by all believers, and that the "Jews" have not been replaced as Yahweh's people. *This list is meant as a sort of starting-off point in a conversation. It is not a sermon, just a list of verses.*

I thought I would share the list that we came up with.
All Believers Are the Seed of Abraham-
As Proclaimed by Scripture

Exo 12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
Exo 12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

Exo 12:49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Lev 20:26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I YHWH am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

Holy- “Set apart for a sacred purpose.”

Eph 2:19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints (Hebrews), and of the household of YHWH;
Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Yeshua Messiah himself being the chief corner stone;
Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of YHWH through the Spirit.

Yeshua said:
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.

Mat 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 4:24 YHWH is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 8:30 As he spake these words, many believed on him.
John 8:31 Then said Yeshua to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Paul said:
Rom 9:6 Not as though the word of YHWH hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
Rom 9:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Rom 9:8 That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of YHWH: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Rom 9:25 As he saith also in Hosea, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Rom 9:26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

Rom 11:1 I say then, Hath YHWH cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Rom 11:2 YHWH hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elijah? how he maketh intercession to YHWH against Israel, saying,
Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of YHWH unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
Rom 11:5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

Rom 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Rom 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Rom 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
Rom 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.
Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if YHWH spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of YHWH: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for YHWH is able to graft them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

James said:
Jas 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
Jas 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
Jas 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.
Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
Jas 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
Jas 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
Jas 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed YHWH, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of YHWH.
Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Jas 2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

(All emphasis my own.)

Romans 11 says that we who believe in Yeshua as our Savior are grafted into Israel. When Scripture was given to the Hebrews, there were many Egyptians with them (Ex. 12:38). This means that Torah was not only given to the Hebrews to obey, but also to any of those who choose to follow their Elohim.
If we are to follow Elohim, then we must also follow His instruction or Torah. For Torah not only means law, but also commands and instruction in righteousness.
Does not the maker of a product (i.e. an appliance) give an instruction manual on the proper operation and maintenance of that product?
Elohim has given His instructions to us from the beginning and He said that they apply “forever.”
Just as YHWH, the Holy Spirit, and Yeshua always were, are presently, and always will be; so too is His Word. The word was from the beginning (John 1:1). The Torah (the Word) always was, always is, and always will be.
Blessings!
