Yes, Greg. I think you already knew that.<br /><br />It would be fairly obvious that there is no visible moon in a dark sky. You wouldn&#39;t have to wait and watch for that. Seeing the sliver is the opposite. <br /><br />YHWH set-apart the light from the darkness- not the other way around. I believe it makes more scriptural sense to watch for the sliver as the New Moon than calling a dark moon
